Goodbye to Beya!

Today we had to say goodbye to our longtime friend and pet, Beya. She had been suffering for along time, as sad as it was it was time.





Doug and I got Beya after we had been married for about a year. She was a six weeks old Beagle puppy and was a tiny little thing. She was all ears and would often trip over them. We will miss having her as part of our family! We waited until the kids came home from school and then Doug was able to go and take her to be put to sleep. The kids were sad, but knew she would be happier in heaven running around than be here in pain. We will miss you!

March 29th Alyssa's 9th birthday

For Alyssa's birthday she wanted to go to Matsu, a sushi restaurant that she loves. She has very expensive taste for her age! So we invited her Grandma Debbie and Grandpa Larry to come and celebrate with us.

I can't believe my cute little girl is now my cute big girl! Where has the time gone? All year Alyssa's talked about wanting to go to the zoo with her friends for her birthday! So on March 27th she got her wish! It was a great choice and we had a great day! She had Nana make her a zoo birthday cake to go with our zoo theme. Of course, it was a wonderful cake!

My mom came with me to help with the girls, not that I needed it! They were so easy, and all got along so well with one another. My mom did come up with a game, all the girls loved playing! They got points for all the animals they could find and all the information they could find about the animals.
